Replacing Cabin Air Filter on Mercedes SLK R170

Model: Mercedes Slk R170, MK 1 - Years 1997-2004
Part: Cabin air filter

The filter in question is an M 2001, and the serial code is also shown in the video. To replace it, access the area behind the glove compartment. Enter from the front passenger side and lower yourself under the drawer, then unscrew the screws in the panel behind the compartment. Once the panel is removed, release the two exposed white clips, and you can now extract the cabin air filter. Insert the new filter in the correct orientation and reassemble everything in reverse order, finishing by screwing in the initially removed panel. Good luck!
