How to Replace the Key Battery of a Mercedes A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W169 - Years 2004-2012

Start by pressing the button located at the top of the key fob for your Mercedes A-Class, which will open the physical key. Next, you need to pry off and remove the back cover of the key. Once you have removed the back cover, you will access the dead battery of the key. Proceed by extracting the battery from its compartment, and the disassembly will be complete. To install the new battery and close the key, simply reverse these instructions, and you will have finished the replacement.
