How to Remove the Cabin Air Fan from the Mercedes B-Class W245

Model: Mercedes Classe B W245, MK 1 - Years 2005-2011

This guide shows how to remove the cabin air fan. The first step is to remove the glove compartment using the Torx screws located in and under the compartment. Be careful to also unscrew a screw on the outer side of the compartment, protected by a plastic cover. At this point, you can pull out the compartment, taking care to disconnect the light power supply. You will then see the air fan on the left side of the space. The fan is held in place by one screw, and once this is removed, you need to rotate the block to the left to take it out. Ensure you have disconnected the power supply to the fan before removing the part. You can now refit the new fan by following the steps completed so far.
