How to Replace the Engine Fan Resistor on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

To replace the engine fan resistor on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, remove the plastic panel located under the glove compartment on the passenger side. Use a T20 Torx wrench to remove the screws securing it. Before removing the panel, disconnect the connectors for the bulbs in the footwell. The resistor is located next to the fan motor, in the position indicated by a red arrow in the video. At this point, the resistor can be pulled out of its housing and replaced.
