Mercedes Classe C - Video tutorial

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007
Part: Key
Operation: How to replace the remote control battery of the Mercedes C-Class 220 CDI?

In the event that the remote control of the Mercedes C 220 CDI class stops working due to the low battery, we can follow this video guide that shows us how to proceed. As we can see, the opening mechanism is certainly not intuitive. First we remove the metal emergency key, in the slot that contains it we can see a small spring mechanism placed on one side. With a small screwdriver, or with the key itself, we try to push this mechanism outwards and at the same time push all the metal part of the remote control upwards. Extraction may be difficult if the key is old. After extracting the trolley with the two batteries, replace them with two of equivalent model: CR2025.
