How to Replace the Remote Battery for the Mercedes C 220 CDI?

If the remote for the Mercedes C 220 CDI stops working due to a dead battery, follow this guide to proceed. As we can see, the opening mechanism is not intuitive. First, remove the metal emergency key; in the slot that holds it, you will see a small spring mechanism on one side. Use a small screwdriver or the key itself to push this mechanism outward while simultaneously pushing the entire metal part of the remote upward. Extraction may be difficult if the key is old. Once you have removed the tray with the two batteries, replace them with two equivalent model: CR2025.
