How to Remove the Radio from a Mercedes C-Class

Start by lifting the plastic around the center console to create space for removing the ashtray. This will expose the screws that secure the climate control panel, which you will unscrew and remove. At this point, using a thin but sturdy tool, extract the climate control panel from its housing and disconnect the connector. After completing this step, remove the trim covering the air vent openings, then proceed to remove the vents themselves by disengaging them from their slots. Removing the vents will reveal additional screws that you need to unscrew and remove, allowing you to take out the entire vent housing. Once you remove the vent housing, you will uncover the screws that secure the upper controls to the radio, which also need to be removed. After removing the upper controls and their screws, you will finally expose the screws that secure the radio, which you will then remove. Once you have removed the screws, you can extract the radio from its housing. Finally, to complete the process, simply disconnect the connectors, and you will have successfully removed the radio.
