Removing the Alternator on Mercedes Sprinter

Model: Mercedes Sprinter MK 2, W906 - Years 2006-2018
Part: Alternator

First, lift the bonnet and insert the support rod. Then, for safety reasons, disconnect the two battery terminals (always start with the negative terminal, followed by the positive). Disconnect the duct shown in the video located under the driver's side front. Undo and then disconnect the alternator power cable, and then remove the bolts securing it to the vehicle. Finally, using a 17 mm spanner, loosen the alternator tensioner and remove the alternator. Reverse the steps for complete reassembly. Good luck!
