In this video we see how we can check if the alternator of our Mercedes Sprinter loads correctly, without any tool, just using the hidden menu of the vehicle. We need to turn on the instrument cluster and put the key in the second position. On the left of the instrument cluster we have two buttons: an "m" is indicated on one of them and an "o" on the other. We will use the latter, holding it down until we hear a "beep" (it takes about 15 seconds). when we hear this signal, it will be time to press the "m" button, which will bring up a menu that we will scroll (by pressing the "m" button) where we can also check the oil level, the battery voltage, but to know if the alternator is charging, we see that when we start the engine, the battery voltage rises, so the alternator is charging correctly.
