How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Mercedes A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W168 - Years 1997-2004

Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Mercedes A-Class. Begin by activating the instrument cluster without starting the engine by turning the key to the first position. Then, repeatedly press the "000.0" button until you reach the maintenance screen on the multifunction display. Once there, turn off the instrument cluster, then press and hold the "000.0" button. While holding it, reactivate the instrument cluster. At this point, continue holding until the "Service" light on your Mercedes A-Class turns off. When the light goes off, you can release the button, and you will have completed the reset.
