Cleaning the Air Flow Sensor - Mass Air Flow Meter

This video demonstrates how to remove and clean the mass air flow sensor. First, locate the sensor and disconnect the connector attached to it, then remove the plastic cover containing the air filter. Once removed, the mass air flow meter will be in plain view, but to fully remove it, you will need to loosen the clamp securing it to the other air duct. Finally, after extracting the sensor, spray a suitable cleaner on the internal contact within it; this will restore and clean the electrical contacts, ensuring more reliable operation.
