Locating the Second Battery

This video shows the location of the second battery in a Mercedes E-Class. The video explains that access to the main battery is from the rear trunk. However, by opening the front hood, you can locate a smaller second battery: it is located at the upper right (upper left when facing the vehicle). A sticker on the plastic cover specifies the location of the main battery. The plastic cover covers the filter housing. To remove it, simply unscrew a plastic bolt. Once you lift the filter housing, you can locate the second battery.
