Replacing the Battery in a Mercedes E-Class

Replace the damaged battery in a Mercedes E-Class. Open the trunk of the car (in the Mercedes E, the battery is located in the rear) and uncover the fabric cover (located in the trunk). Using a socket wrench, loosen the securing bolts of the battery terminals (loosen the two opposite poles) and disconnect them from the battery. Remove the securing screws of the battery, take out the old battery, and prepare to install a new unit in the trunk. Position the new battery and connect the previously disconnected terminals. Tighten the battery securing screws. Start the car's engine.
