To replace the battery in the key fob of your Mercedes E-Class, you won’t need any special tools, just the correct battery model, which is a CR 2032 3V. Take your car's key fob and press the small button located on the back of the casing; this will allow you to open the fob. Once the back cover is removed, you will find the battery compartment latch on the right edge; pull it outward to release the battery compartment. At this point, proceed to remove the old battery and replace it with the new one.
