How to Replace the Battery in a Mercedes E-Class Key Fob?

To replace the battery in the Mercedes E-Class key fob, press the button on the back of the fob to release the emergency key from inside the device. Once removed, slide off the plastic cover on the back to access the compartment underneath. Inside this compartment, you will find the battery, which needs to be removed and replaced with a new one. After inserting the new battery, close the compartment by reattaching the plastic cover on the fob and reinserting the emergency key.
