Replacement of Cabin Fan

Model: Mercedes Sprinter MK 2, W906 - Years 2006-2018

The fan for air circulation inside the cabin is located just behind the glove compartment: to replace it, you need to remove the glove compartment. First, unclip the plastic cover next to the glove compartment door; then open the glove compartment, fully fold it down by unclipping the end tabs, and unscrew the fixing screws of the glove compartment itself to remove it completely. Next, remove the duct part located right in front of the fan and disconnect the connectors attached to the fan to then release it by turning it counter-clockwise (bayonet fitting). Now, fit the new fan correctly and reconnect everything that was previously removed.
