The guide shows how to remove the door panel of the 2002 Mercedes Benz sl500. The first step is to unscrew the four screws on the side of the door, three of the finishing plate and one of the edge of the lock. Remove the SRS Airbag cap and remove the screw. From the storage under the armrest, remove the other two screws. Remove the mirror trim piece and begin prying the bottom and side of the panel. Remove the lock actuation cable and the electric control cables.
