How to Remove the Door Panel of the Mercedes Benz SL500

This guide shows how to disassemble the door panel of the 2002 Mercedes Benz SL500. First, remove the four screws on the side of the door: three from the trim plate and one from the lock bezel. Remove the SRS Airbag cover and take out the screw. From the glove compartment under the armrest, remove the other two screws. Remove the mirror trim piece and start prying from the bottom and side of the panel. Disconnect the lock actuator cable and the electrical control cables.
