How to replace the remote battery on the Mercedes SLK?

Model: Mercedes Slk MK 2, R171 - Years 2004-2011

To replace the remote battery on the Mercedes SLK, extract the emergency key located at the top right of the remote. Once the key is removed, lever inside its housing to lift the tray containing the battery from the top of the remote. After the tray is extracted, you can remove the battery from inside and replace it with a new spare part. After replacing, reinsert the tray and the key.
