How to Replace a Headlight Bulb in a Mercedes A-Class

To replace a headlight bulb in a Mercedes A-Class, you need to get an H7 bulb rated for 12 volts. Open the hood of the vehicle and completely remove the headlight assembly. Then, unscrew the three bolts on the bumper that hold the structure in place. Pull out the headlight by slightly lifting the bumper to allow it to come out. Remove the cover that protects the connectors and disconnect them. Next, grip the black plastic ring on both sides and rotate it until you hear a click; you can now access the bulb. Proceed with the replacement, making sure to handle the bulb by the metal base. Insert it into the ring and turn it in the opposite direction. Reconnect the electrical wires and reassemble the headlight by following the steps you just completed.
