In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the ashtray from the center console in the Mercedes C-Class, a very simple operation. To do this, you will need a plastic trim tool and a Torx T20 wrench.

Start by prying up the base of the shift knob, then disconnect the two related connectors and remove the knob by turning the ring indicated counterclockwise. Once this is done, pry off the console trim and remove the two screws that are now exposed.

At this point, you can grab the ashtray, pull it towards you, and remove it from the housing.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space.
