Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Mercedes Classe E W210 - Years 1995-2002

The engine air filter is located right at the center of the engine, and the cover is secured with bayonet clips around the entire perimeter plus four bolts that need to be removed; at this point, you can lift the cover and extract the old filter, known as a donut filter due to its shape. Once the old filter is removed and you have verified that there are no dirt residues in its seat, insert the new one, ensuring the gasket is properly seated, and reposition the cover by re-engaging the bayonet clips and tightening the four bolts.
