Replacing the Accessory Belt Pulley

Due to wear, the bearing of the accessory belt idler pulley may become damaged and noisy: replacing this pulley is both simple and cost-effective, and you can proceed without completely removing the belt itself (assess if it is necessary to replace it). Loosen the mounting bolt of the pulley slightly, release the tensioner of the accessory belt, and hold it in this position to free the pulley for replacement without fully removing the belt; completely remove the bolt and install the new pulley; once the mounting bolt is tightened, reposition the belt and release the tensioner.
