To replace the battery on a Mercedes Vito, remove the plastic cover located on the left side immediately under the driver's seat. Once this panel is removed, you can unscrew the bolts securing the battery in its housing and disconnect the power cables. After the device is freed, it can be pulled out of its position and replaced with a new one. Once the battery is reconnected and positioned, cover everything with the panel.
