Replacing Climate Control Switch Bulb

Model: Mercedes Clk A208, W208, C208 - Years 1997-2003

To replace the backlighting bulbs of the climate control switches, you need to have the appropriate keys to disassemble the control panel: insert the keys into the designated slots with the bevel facing inwards, push them all the way in to release the retaining springs and slide out the panel; then disconnect the connectors and use a pair of pliers to extract the bulb holder and replace the bulb (T5); then reinsert the bulb holder, connect the connectors to ensure the bulb works, and reattach the panel in its place.
