Engine Air Filter Cleaning

Cleaning the engine air filter is absolutely essential to ensure proper power delivery: the amount of air drawn in determines the characteristics of the fuel mixture; the engine air filter housing (air box) is located right in the centre of the engine and is very easy to access; first disconnect the intake duct, unscrew the screws securing the cover along the edges, and lift it to extract the old filter; remove any dirt residues, taking care not to let them fall into the intake duct, and insert the new filter ensuring the seals fit perfectly; finally, refit the cover and the duct.
