How to Change the Key Battery of a Mercedes SLK

This short video tutorial shows the steps necessary to replace the battery in the remote key of a second-generation Mercedes SLK, produced from 2004 to 2011. Start by extracting the physical emergency key using the release lever. Then, use the extracted key to press a small button inside the remote to lift the battery compartment cover. Once done, remove the two old batteries and replace them with two new ones. The batteries required for this remote model are CR2025 3V.
