How to Replace the Key Battery on the Mercedes SLK

If the key for your Mercedes SLK Mk2 has suddenly stopped working, don't worry as you just need to replace one or both of the button batteries inside. In this mini guide, we will discover how to do it. First, locate the button on the bottom of the cover and press it. At the same time, pull the emergency key out completely. Now remove the battery holder and proceed to replace the used batteries with new ones (model ECR2025). Finally, reassemble everything correctly and you're done.
