Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Mercedes Clk A208, W208, C208 - Years 1997-2003

Position a suitable container under the oil drain plug of the sump and unscrew it to allow the oil to drain. Once the used oil has drained, screw the plug back in and continue with the oil filter replacement. It is a dip type filter located at the front right of the engine (when viewed from the front). Unscrew the oil filter housing cap with a socket spanner, remove the old cartridge, and insert the new one, also replacing the O-ring seals that are always included in the new filter kit. Lubricate them with clean oil and screw the cap back on. Finally, fill the engine with new oil until reaching the maximum level.
