Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Mercedes Clk A208, W208, C208 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just below the glove compartment. To access the air duct, remove a trim panel by unscrewing the relevant fastening screws. Once the panel is removed, slide the retaining tabs of the cover protecting the cabin air filter outward and extract the filter by slightly rotating it. Install the new filter (it is recommended to choose one with activated carbon) orienting it according to the direction of airflow, then reposition the cover and the panel.
