Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Mercedes Clk A208, W208, C208 - Years 1997-2003
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just below the glove compartment. First, remove the three screws securing the soundproof cover (the one with holes) protecting the air duct, and then remove the cover itself.
On the left side, you can see the cabin air filter housing: release the securing clips of the cap by pulling them back, and remove the cap itself.
Take out the old filter and insert the new one, ensuring it is oriented correctly according to the airflow direction. Reapply the cap by securing the clips and finally refit the cover by inserting the rear tab into its designated slot.
