Transmission Mount Replacement Instructions

The failure of the transmission support bearing is a common issue but can be easily repaired and is relatively inexpensive; lift the vehicle on a lift and, before proceeding with the removal of the mount, mark the alignment between the two transmission shafts; then remove the mount and separate the two shafts; use a puller to remove the portion of the bearing still attached to the shaft and install the new mount, then reverse the steps for reassembly, ensuring to maintain the previously marked alignment.
