To replace the external handle of the sliding door on the Mercedes Vito, open the door and detach the circular cover located on its side. Once this cover is removed, you can unscrew the underlying screw completely; consequently, the door lock can be extracted from its housing and the handle can be removed accordingly. Now you can insert the new lock and corresponding handle; finally, everything can be secured with the side screw.
