In order to replace the starter motor of the Mercedes B-Class, you need to open the hood, so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment. It will be necessary to completely remove the engine block, in order to access the starter motor, which will be located in the area below. Once the motor has been removed, it will then be possible to disconnect the connectors connected to the motor and unscrew the screws so that it can be extracted from inside its housing. After removal it will be possible to insert the new motor and also install the engine block.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
