To replace the external mirror on a Mercedes Vito, first loosen the screws that secure the internal door panel: these screws are located at the bottom of the panel and under the grab handle. Once loosened, the panel can be completely removed, allowing access to the screws that secure the mirror from the inside of the door; these screws must be loosened so that the mirror can be removed from the outside of the door, disconnecting the corresponding connector. At this point, insert the new mirror, connect its connector, and reattach the door panel.
