Rear Shock Absorber Replacement Instructions

Model: Mercedes Classe A W168 - Years 1997-2004

To replace the rear shock absorbers, you need a lift and a hydraulic jack; lift the vehicle on the lift and remove the rear wheel; locate the two mounting bolts of the shock absorber and place the hydraulic jack under the mount to support it during disassembly; then remove the two mounting bolts of the shock absorber to take it out of its place and insert the new one, tightening the corresponding bolts; once the bolts are secured, you can lower the jack and install the wheel.
