How to Remove the Starter Motor from a Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204

In this video, learn how to remove the starter motor from a Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204: the component is located under the engine block, in a not very accessible place, although there is space to work. You need to reach under the engine block with one hand and disconnect the electrical connectors. Then, remove the mounting bolt located behind the starter motor that secures it to the vehicle's frame. On the opposite side (not visible in the video) is another similar bolt that secures the component to the engine block. Once you have removed these fasteners, you can proceed with the removal and replacement.
