Ignition Coil Replacement

If the engine struggles to start or runs unevenly, it is possible that a cylinder is not firing due to a malfunction of the corresponding spark plug or ignition coil. The engine warning light may also illuminate on the dashboard, and the diagnosis will indicate which cylinder is not firing and the related cause, which in this case is the coil. To access the coil, remove the plastic cover on the engine, which requires disassembling the air filter housing. Once you reach the coil, unscrew the fixing screw and disconnect the spark plug lead and connector.
