Battery Replacement Instructions

Replacing the battery is one of the common DIY maintenance tasks, but it is recommended to dispose of the old one properly. In this car model, the battery is located in the engine compartment, on the passenger side, just behind the strut tower. Once you locate the battery compartment, unclip and remove the cover, disconnect the terminals, remove the mounting brackets at the bottom of the battery, and the vent tube. Then, extract the old battery and insert the new one, securing it with the appropriate brackets before reconnecting the terminals, the vent tube, and repositioning the cover.
