Replacing the Auxiliary Belt and Tensioner Pulley

Model: Mercedes Classe C W204 - Years 2007-2013

The auxiliary belt (or service belt) is located at the front of the engine, just behind the radiator, but the intercooler pipe is attached in front of the pulleys. Therefore, the first step is to remove this pipe by taking out the screws of the respective mounting brackets. Once you free up the working space, loosen the auxiliary belt tensioner to slip the belt off. Then, remove the tensioner pulley and install the new one. Ensure that the new belt is compatible (length and number of grooves) and apply it to the pulleys before reassembling everything.
