These accessories are easily available in the aftermarket and generally come as caps that either overlay the original ones or, as in this case, replace the original caps. Removing the cap is straightforward since it is snap-fitted onto the mirror: Start by pulling the bottom edge of the cap forward, then pull the cap upward until it releases. Follow the reverse order for installation, paying attention to the securing tab located at the center of the cap.
