Replacement of Front Suspension Springs

To replace the front suspension springs, you first need to have the appropriate clamps to compress the spring on the shock absorber. You will also need to remove several components from the vehicle to access the shock absorber mount. Start by lifting the vehicle, removing the front wheel, and the bolts securing the shock absorber to the hub support. Then lower the vehicle to access the engine bay. To reach the strut top, remove the plastic grille located just below the windscreen, along with the wiper arms and the wiper mechanism. At this point, you can access the strut top and remove the nut securing the shock absorber mount to complete its removal. Now, apply the clamps to the spring to compress it and detach the mount from the shaft. Next, apply the clamps to the new spring and fit it onto the shock absorber along with the dust cover and mount, then proceed in reverse order for installation back onto the vehicle.
