Replacing the Cabin Air Filter for the Air Conditioning System

Model: Mercedes Classe A W168 - Years 1997-2004

Locate the cabin filter position, which in this case is in the engine compartment centrally near the windshield (as indicated by arrow number 1 in the images). Lift the filter housing cover by unlocking it from the three clips indicated by arrows number 2 in the images. Raise the cover using the two side elements indicated in the images with arrows number 4. Remove the old filter and insert the new one in the same position. This operation should be performed every 15,000 miles or at least once a year. The vehicle on which this maintenance operation is performed is a Mercedes A-Class.
