On the Mercedes GLC, the fuel door may become stuck due to a malfunction of the release button or the lock actuator. In this case, you can perform an emergency opening by following the procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, position yourself in front of the fuel door, then detach the inner wheel well cover from the body just enough to access the internal mechanism. Next, locate the indicated red lever, activate it, and open the fuel door.

At this point, you can refuel and repair the faulty component.
