To replace the trunk lock on a Mercedes A-Class, open the trunk to access the interior trim. This will allow you to loosen the screws that secure the lock to its housing, enabling you to remove it from its position.

Next, disconnect the connectors attached to the lock so you can connect them to the new replacement lock. The new lock can now be secured to its housing with the appropriate screws, allowing you to reattach the trunk panel.
