In order to replace the Mercedes A-Class lock, it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the door panel and disengage it, then disconnecting all the cables. Then you will need to insert a torx key inside the hole on the end of the door, in order to unscrew a bolt that secures the lock. By loosening this and other bolts on the inside and outside of the door (all obviously shown in the tutorial), it will be possible to detach the inside of the panel, to which the lock is attached. Finally, it will be possible to replace it and mount all the parts previously removed.
