Instructions for Replacing the Link Rod.

The component that connects the end of the anti-roll bar to the shock absorber bracket is called a link rod, but it is better known as a sway bar link; its replacement is extremely simple. Just lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel; then proceed to remove the nut that secures the ball joint of the sway bar link to the bracket next to the shock absorber. Similarly, remove the joint at the other end connected to the anti-roll bar. Once the old sway bar link is removed, proceed in reverse to install the new one.
