In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the key fob battery in a Mercedes E-Class, a very simple and quick operation. You will need a replacement battery of type CR2032 and, if necessary, a small flathead screwdriver.

Start by locating the small button on the back of the key fob, then press it while simultaneously pulling the cover outward. Next, grasp the drawer that has just been freed, pull it out of the housing, and remove the old battery.

At this point, simply insert the new battery and reassemble everything.
