Replacing the Rear Hatch Button

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

This brief tutorial shows how to remove the hatch button from your car. Remove the 2 screws with a Torx screwdriver located in the handle of the hatch and also the covers to access the lights. You will need to remove the panel by lowering one side at a time, locating the clips, and pulling at that point, giving it a good tap if necessary. Next, release the clips holding the electrical connector of the button, pulling out the connector and disconnecting the electrical plug. You can then pull out the button, being careful not to damage the rubber gasket.

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?
