Replacing the Center Console in Our Car

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

This guide shows how to replace the center tunnel in our car. First, remove the radio, being careful not to damage the console. Once the radio is removed, unscrew the 4 screws located in the radio compartment. Then, disconnect the connectors and the hazard light switch. Next, remove the cigarette lighter and the fan control panel. Now, without being intimidated by the multitude of wires underneath, lift the console from the rear. If you are extremely careful, it will detach on its own. You can then proceed to install the new console you purchased, ensuring to reattach all the screws.
