Instructions for Replacing the Airbag Control Module

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007

In the event of a collision, the airbag control module records the crash and must be replaced with a new one: this module is located under the center console of the dashboard, practically beneath the ashtray compartment; to remove it, first disconnect the shift lever boot, then remove the trim covering the center tunnel, and then disconnect and remove the ashtray compartment to access the climate control commands; at this point, there is enough maneuvering space to access the mounting screws of the airbag control module, allowing you to remove and replace it.
