How to Replace Your Car's Airbag

Replacing the airbag is not that difficult, and doing it yourself can save you a significant amount of money. Once you find the new airbag at the best price, you can proceed to replace the old one. Turn off the car, remove the keys, and ensure the wheels are turned outward with the parking brake engaged. Lightly pull the steering wheel cover while turning it and remove it comfortably. Next, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Then, take the steering wheel cover and turn it with the inner side facing you. This way, you will have a clear view of the two pins that hold the airbag in place, which you will need to work on. For this, use a flathead screwdriver of the appropriate size, leveraging the metal clips inside the two holes. After that, simply remove the old airbag.
